BETHLEHEM, Pa. - McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub & Whiskey Bar, a popular downtown Bethlehem restaurant sustained minor damage from a fire early Saturday morning, according to an announcement on their Facebook page.

Dispatchers in Northampton County first reported the fire around 4:30 am - originally triggered by a smoke alarm (automatic fire alarm), and by 4:58 it was announced that the fire was out.
According to an article by WFMZ News, the fire was not extensive, and there were no injuries. The fire was also extinguished without anyone on-site, according to the article.
WFMZ reported that the fire started in a utility room at the back of the building.
