WEST CALN TWP., Pa. - A man in his 60's died as a result of a plane crash in southern Chester County Thursday afternoon, according to 6 ABC News
The crash happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. in the area between a home and some trees in the 500 block of Old Wilmington Road, according to Action News.
Initial emergency dispatches called for a small aircraft that crashed in a field.
6 ABC News reported that the property is owned by the Amish and there is an Amish school on the property, according to neighbors.
The plane went down two minutes after taking off from the nearby Chester County Airport, according to Flight Aware.
6 ABC News also said that the plane was featured in a YouTube video called Rebuild Rescue. The people in the video buy planes and fix them up..

There is no word on what caused the crash.
