U. MACUNGIE TWP., Pa. - A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County on Monday evening has died.
Bruce Foley, 69, was hit around 7:15 p.m. Monday in the area of Chris's Family Restaurant on Tilghman Street, according to police and the Lehigh County Coroner's office.
Police say Foley, of Lower Macungie Township, was trying to cross the road and died from his injuries at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest a short time later..
His death was ruled an accident, according to the coroner.
The driver of the SUV was not hurt but had visible damage to the front end.
Police, the coroner and the county DA's office are involved in the investigation.
