Pedestrian struck in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa - A pedestrian was struck in Allentown this evening, according to emergency dispatchers.
The incident took place at 5th & Allen Streets in Allentown and was reported just before 9 pm this evening.
The area was taped off where the incident took place.
The patient was transported to a nearby trauma center, according to dispatchers.
