Police respond to shooting in Fountain Hill Monday night

FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. - A shooting took place in the 700 block of Cherokee Street in Fountain Hill around 9 p.m. Monday, according to emergency dispatchers.

The area was shut down, and crime scene tape was put up.
A nearby resident told Channel 69 News that they heard what sounded like five gunshots, followed by police sirens.
One man was shot, according to dispatchers.
