L.OWER MACUNGIE TWP. Pa. —
On October 15, 2023, at approximately 11:44 a.m. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the area of 1013 Village Round in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County, for an individual with images of a possible large cat in the area.
Upon further investigation, it was determined that the image captured "a large feline possibly a mountain lion" in the fields behind Hanover Drive in Lower Macungie Township, according to a report by the Pennsylvania State Police - Fogelsville.
Pennsylvania State Police said that the Pennsylvania Game Commission was contacted and advised of the situation.

Residents should not approach the animal, police said.
