Saquon Barkley agrees to three-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles on Monday have agreed on a three-year, $37.75 million contract with former New York Giants running back and two-time Pro Bowl performer, Saquon Barkley.


The contract could be worth up to $46.75M and includes $26M fully guaranteed at signing, sources told Adam Schefter.


Barkley who has rushed for more than 5,200 yards over six seasons in the NFL played high school football at Whitehall High School before starting at Penn State.

He is expected to replace free agent D'Andre Swift in the Eagles backfield.


Barkley took to X to post a goodbye: “Thank you to everyone who has shown me love and support over the past 6 years… forever grateful! Excited for the next chapter.”


Barkley was born in The Bronx but grew up in Coplay, Pa
