School bus involved in three vehicle motor vehilce crash in Salisbury Twp. Monday morning

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. - A school bus was involved in a crash in which a car ended up on its roof in Lehigh County.


The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday in Salisbury Township, according to emergency dispatchers.


According to police, a Mitsubishi Eclipse ended up on its roof.


The three vehilce motor vehicle accident took place at 1549 East Emmaus Avenue at the Arts Academy Charter School, according to Salisbury Township Police Department.

No serious injuries were reported, according to police.


Initial reports indicated students were on the bus, but police say only the driver was on board.


Police do not have any further details available on the third vehicle


Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Salisbury Township police at 610-797-1447.


Police remind people to use caution near schools.


Salisbury Township Police Department says they are working with the school and PennDOT to try and slow traffic along this busy state route.
