Search continues for woman who jumped in Delaware River after fleeing police

***UPDATE***

Through investigative leads, Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Dublin Station were able to safely locate the 30-Year-Old Female in Riegelsville Borough uninjured. Criminal charges against her are pending.


Riegelsville Borough, Bucks County – The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop M Dublin Station is currently investigating a missing person from an incident that occurred in the evening on Monday, January 15, 2024.


On Monday, January 15, 2024, at approximately 6:36 pm, Troopers from PSP Dublin were dispatched to Durham Street, Riegelsville Borough, Bucks County for a domestic incident, according to state police. Upon arrival, it was determined that both a 30-Year-Old Female and 34-Year-Old Male had fled the scene.



Upon canvassing the area, Troopers located the 30-Year-Old Female, and three children, on a walking path along the Delaware River. As Trooper’s went to speak with her, the female jumped into the Delaware River. police say. Troopers were able to safety secure the children at the scene.


Troopers attempted to rescue the female, however, were unable to bring her back onto the shore.


Both the Riegelsville Fire Department and Plumsted Fire Water Rescue Team assisted at the scene.


During the search, the 34-Year-Old Male arrived back on the scene and was taken into custody on a warrant.


After a two-hour search for the female, the search was called off.


PSP Dublin will be continuing this investigation today.
