Severe Thunderstorm watch in effect for much of our region until 8 pm

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania until 8 pm EDT, according to the National Weather Service.
The threat information indicates the possibility of hail reaching ping pong ball size, wind gusts up to 70 mph, and lightning.
The severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for the following counties:
