Three-vehicle fatal crash causes part of Route 100 to close and has traffic at a standstill in Lehigh County

LOWHILL TWP., Pa. - According to WFMZ News, traffic is at a standstill following a three-vehicle fatal crash on Route 100 in Lehigh County.
The crash took place around 3:15 p.m. Thursday near the KOA Campground off of Route 100 in Lowhill Township.
According to authorities, Route 100 is closed and will remain closed until further notice for accident reconstruction between the intersection of Route 309 and Hollenbach Road.
According to state police, one person is dead, and others are injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time, according to WFMZ.
PennDOT is out helping with traffic control, according to the news report.
