Woman killed, man has minor injuries after tree falls on camper in Bucks County

MILFORD TWP., Pa -The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop M Dublin

Station responded to the Quaker Woods Campground on Saturday, April 20, 2024, for a tree

which had fallen onto a camper on the premises.


On Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:43 pm, Troopers from PSP Dublin responded to the Quaker

Woods Campground at 2225 Rosedale Road, Milford Township, Bucks County, to assist both

Fire Department personnel and EMS with a large tree, approximately 94 inches in diameter,

that had fallen onto a camper, according to a news release.

A male victim had been thrown from the camper upon impact and survived with minor injuries, however, a 69-year-old female was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the news report.


Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Milford Township Fire Department and the Bucks County

Coroner’s Office also assisted at the scene.
