CATASAUQUA, Pa. — A fire in Catasauqua on Sunday left two families homeless.
Catasauqua and Northampton County fire departments were called to the 700 block of Third Street around 11:27 a.m.
According to a WFMZ news report, Catasauqua Borough fire marshal Raymond W. Anthony says the fire started in a first-floor bedroom and was caused by a child playing with a lit candle.

The fire inspector told 69 News one person was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
First responders spent hours on the scene.
According to the fire inspector, the building, which has two apartments is uninhabitable.
