Former NFL Star Suggests Roger Goodell Reverse Cowboys vs. Lions Game Outcome

The Cowboys defeated the Lions with a score of 20-19 during their game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday night. But there is controversy surrounding the victory.

A former NFL star is urging NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to overturn the outcome of the Cowboys vs. Lions game.

Former NFL player, Antonio Brown pointed out that according to Rule 17 of the NFL rulebook, Goodell has the authority to reverse a game result. Brown tweeted, “NEWS: Under Rule 17 of the #NFL rulebook, commissioner Roger Goodall has the authority to OVERTURN a game result.

It is unlikely that the decision will be reversed. despite Brown’s call.

With time still remaining in the fourth quarter, if the Lions had managed to take the lead with a successful two-point conversion, the Cowboys would still have had the opportunity to drive down the field and attempt a game-winning field goal.

It is understandable that many individuals within the league are dissatisfied with how events unfolded on Saturday night.
