Saucon Valley School District closed again due to another bomb threat

LOWER SAUCON TWP., Pa - Sacuon Valley School District in Northampton County is closed once again due to a bomb threat.


On March 20, 2024 at approximately 9:45 pm, the Lower Saucon Township Police Department was notified of a second bomb threat made towards the Saucon Valley School District, according to a news release.



Police say that the investigation is ongoing.


At this time it is unknown if this threat is related to the initial threat reported on March 19, 2024, according to police.


Police say there is a collaborative effort between their department and the school district to ensure the safety of the students and staff of Saucon Valley School District.


Due to the ongoing investigation, the release of information will be restricted.
