The funeral for conservative activist Charlie Kirk is scheduled for September 21st at State Farm Stadium - home of the Arizona Cardinals. President Trump has already promised to attend. He stated that when addressing the nation on Wednesday night, during an emotional tribute.
Trump said in a four-minute video posted to Truth Social on Wednesday, “To my great fellow Americans, I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah.”
31-year-old Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University as part of his American Comeback tour. A multi-day manhunt ended with the arrest of alleged assassin Tyler Robinson on Friday. According to the Post, he was turned in by his dad through a minister who was a family friend.
It's also come out that Robinson was living with a transgender partner who was in the process of transitioning from male to female, a law enforcement source confirmed to The Post Saturday.
That individual, who has yet to be publicly identified by the authorities, is now fully cooperating with the FBI on its investigation into the fatal shooting of the conservative activist, the source added. The relationship was first reported by Fox News’ Brooke Singman.
According to public records, Lance Twiggs, 22, resided at the same address where Robinson lived. A relative of Twiggs confirmed to The Post Saturday that “yes, they were roommates.”

Turning Point USA invited supporters to join them “in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” whose “life was a testament to faith, courage, and conviction.”
Charlie Kirk leaves behind a wife and two children:
Kirk leaves behind his widow, Erik, and two children - a 3-year-old daughter and 1 year old son. She sobbed, “I love you, I love you, I know, I miss you so much,” as she held the hand of her departed husband lying in an open casket. A photo was posted on social media on Saturday.
“They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now,” she added in a caption. “You have no idea.”
“The world is evil,” she also wrote on social media. “The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby I know you do, and so does our Lord.”
The couple was married in 2021.

“My husband laid down his life for me, for our nation, for our children,” Erika said as she stood behind a podium bearing a sign of her late husband’s face with the text: “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.”
Vice President JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance flew out to Utah to retrieve Kirk’s body on Friday and joined Erika in transporting the casket back to the young family’s home state of Arizona.
Kirk’s spouse has promised to continue her husband’s mission at TPUSA. She announced Friday that their campus tour will continue throughout the fall. “There will be even more tours in the years to come,” she said. “The movement is not going anywhere, and it will only grow stronger when you join it.”
Please pray for our nation and the family, friends, and loved ones of Charlie Kirk. Even if you didn't agree with him, he left behind a wife and two beautiful children. He also fought to make the world a better place and proclaimed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ while trying to help many of our youth. He co-founded the student organization Turning Point USA.
